Responsibilities for Electrician<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

• Install, maintain, and enhance electrical systems and components, including fuses, lights, and wiring<\/li>
• Inspect, test, and diagnose issues with electrical systems and components<\/li>
• Perform all work in a manner that meets and follows electrical codes, blueprints, and standards<\/li>
• Test electrical systems and components to ensure proper functioning<\/li>
• Complete required documentation of repairs and service information<\/li>
• Ensure adequate inventory of necessary supplies and parts<\/li>
• Calibrate equipment to provided specifications<\/li>
• Peform preventative maintenance on electrical systems and components<\/li>
• Troubleshoot problems and make timely repairs<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n

  Qualifications for Electrician<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

  • Completion of an electrician apprenticeship prgoram required<\/li>
  • Completion of an electrician program at a technical or trade school preferred<\/li>
  • Journeyman Electrician license required in state of practice<\/li>
  • 3-5 years of electrical experience<\/li>
  • Valid driver’s license in state of practice<\/li>
  • Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 50 pounds<\/li>
  • Ability to bend, climb, squat, reach, and kneel<\/li>
  • Comfortable reading and understanding electrical blueprints, schematics, and diagrams<\/li>
  • Working knowledge of electrical theory, and the associated principles, materials, and equipment<\/li>
  • Demonstrated ability to operate hand and power tools associated with electrical work<\/li>
  • Ability to calculate basic mathematical problems<\/li>
